Who are we?

Friends of Our School is a group of parents, teachers, and community members who provide service and support to teachers and administrators for the benefit of the children of Johnson Creek Elementary School. We are similar to a PTA or PTO.

What do we do?

Museum Trip
Friends of our School is run by volunteers, giving their time, money and expertise in order to further support the educational goals set by our School and District. These volunteer opportunities are both great and small, and we urge you to get involved, have fun, and support our kids and our school. We provide financial support to enrichment activities and experiences for the students of Johnson Creek Elementary School. Friends of Our School proudly funds or organizes the following:
    • Purchase major items for the school such as playground equipment, computers, science materials, digital cameras, books, art kiln, teacher appreciation gifts, school bus radios etc.
    • Fund field trips and cultural programs such as theater productions, storytellers, authors, and artists
    • Fund and operate the P.O.P.S. Store (Power of Positive Students)
